Start Dark souls remastered and your controller should now be detected by the game (You might have to use the magnify feature in game once, xbox button + button you mapped magnify to) Hold down the xbox button in the middle of your controller and press whatever button you mapped to make sure its working (it should magnify your screen). The button should now say toggle magnifier.Ĥ. click on one of your controller buttons (I used right bumper) and set it to use magnify (the magnifying glass icon). go to steam/settings/controller/guide button chord configurationģ. Make sure your xbox controller is plugged in/recognized by steamĢ. Like many people I had the problem of my xbox controller not being detected by Dark Souls remastered and spent hours looking over the internet trying to fix it, I tried every solution here and many more and I couldnt get it to work.īUT I did finally figure out a solution that worked for me.
